Pirates of the Amazon

  • Pirates of the Amazon is a add-on for the Firefox Web browser. It alerts users browsing the selection of Amazon.com to see if any media is available as a BitTorrent download on the popular Pirate Bay tracker. If a message reading "Download for Free" pops up on any page featuring a film, music album, video game or publication, a user can automatically begin downloading the item for free. Most of these free downloads violate copyright law, and are therefore illegal.
