  • Pippi Longstocking is a fictional character that first appeared in a series of children's books by Astrid Lindgren in 1945. Pippi is a free-spirited girl with red hair in braided pig tails, who lives with a monkey named Mr. Nelson and a horse named Alfonso in a Swedish town called Villa Villakula. She has two friends named Tommy and Annika Settergren, who often accompany her on adventures. Pippi is also known for her super-human strength, which allows her to lift a horse with one hand.

  • Adaptations
