Piper Aircraft

Overview

An american aircraft manufacturing company that is well known for training aircraft and the classic Piper Cub. Originally founded in Lock Haven, PA by William Piper in 1937 Piper has manufactured simple cloth skin to all-metal high performance airplanes for general avaition.

Currently, Piper makes a series of single-engine and multi-engine airplanes for the general aviation market. This includes the Warrior III, Arrow, Seminole, Seneca V, Matrix, Mirage, and Meridian. The Matrix, Mirage, and Meridian are variants of each other and high performance single-engine designs. Their newest model, the PiperJet a single engine six seater is their entrance into the VLJ (Very light jet) market.
