A Pillow Pet is a unique toy for children that combines a pillow with a stuffed animal pet. The Pillow Pet was introduced in 2003, and it has been making children of all ages smile. The plush toy provides two functions as both a warm companion as a stuffed animal, and the security as a pillow.

History
The Pillow Pet was first introduced in 2003 and the brainchild behind the concept was a mother of two from San Diego. Basically, the mother was tired of picking up stuffed animals after her children had left them after play. So, the aha moment came when she thought of transforming a pillow into a functional play item, the pet. The toy has become a hit, and has since been seen and sold on television. -

The Pillow Pet is seen on television for under $20, usually $19.95 or $19.99. The Pillow Pet is also seen on the Internet for the same price. The Pillow Pet is available in different characters including Snuggly Puppy, Puffy Duck, and Wiggly Pig, among many others. My Pillow Pets are sold in more than 60 retail locations throughout the U.S. as well as in Sweden, Japan and Canada.
