Pikmin

Pikmin is a series of video games developed for the Nintendo GameCube. It features Captain Olimar, who is in control of small creatures called Pikmin. Throughout the games, Captain Olimar leads the Pikmin to complete strategic puzzles.

On March 9, 2009, the original Pikmin game was re-released for the Nintendo Wii. The ported version will make use of the Wii's motion controls.GameSpot: New Play Control Pikmin Q&A (February 27, 2009)

While on vacation, Captain Olimar's ship is hit by an asteroid and he crash lands on Earth. To him the Earth's atmosphere is poisonous and has 30 days to leave the planet before his life support system fails. The endangered Pikmin team up with Olimar to find his ship parts and escape the unfriendly environment of Earth.
