    Bouchard was drafted eighth overall in the 2002 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. He joined the Wild that same year for his rookie season. Bouchard played for the Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros, during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. He returned to the Wild following the lockout and scored an NHL career high 63 points during the 2007-08 regular season.
