Weather
Phuket is a beautiful place to visit year round. In the past the general weather patterns were broken into two seasons: Rainy and High. Neither of these can really truly be applied to the weather in Phuket.October through April - Phuket gets less wind and rain. Although being in the tropics there will always be some tropical rain showers that pop up, then it clears back up again into a sunny day. This is the busiest time of year in Phuket.
May through September - More wind and frequent showers. Increase in the wave heights and strength. A few times over this time period there will be rain showers that last for a few hours or more. However, the majority of the season is very pleasant, with light winds to help keep you cool.
