Historical fiction writer Philippa Gregory has garnered international attention with her Tudor Period series featuring The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance.
Career
Philippa Gregory published her first novel Wideacre in 1987. It was soon expanded into a trilogy. After Gregory released her novel The Wise Woman in 1992, it was immediately adapted for the small screen on the BBC. Gregory's greatest success came in 2001 with the launch of The Other Boleyn Girl which was ultimately turned into a film starring Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson.
