Philadelphia Restaurants

  • Philadelphia, better known as "The City of Brotherly Love" and is sometimes called just, "Philly." There are several districts with in the city, each containing there own attractions, restaurant ideas and nightlife options. Philly's best known food is the Philly Cheesesteak, it's know country-wide and originated right in the city. Philadelphia also has their own version of a soft pretzel, made like most soft pretzels, but shaped differently. It's a quite popular snack, sold mostly from street vendors, with the residence with in the city.
  • Fine Dining

When in Philly, it's not hard to find fine-dining establishments, it's really just a matter of the taste you are looking for. Le Bec-Fin is a luxury restaurant that serves a fusion of French and Belgian foods. Not unlike most fine-dining institutions, the menu changes often but the food is consistently "exquisite." There are some fixed-priced menu options, including a three-course lunch. The entrees are a bit pricey, but it seems to be worth the well-rated, "stratospherically high standard" meals. Reservations are strongly recommended.
  • Affordable Dining

Taccomelli's Pizzeria is a perfect place for an affordable meal in Philly. Their pizzas are "heavenly" and it's a true "recommendation" for great pizza in the area. The Pizzas are made in a real brick oven and each "pie" is made "fresh to order." It is strongly recommended that you call ahead and order the pizza you want because it's a one-man operation.
