    Phil Jackson won his first six with the Chicago Bulls during Michael Jordan era, three with the Los Angeles Lakers during Shaq and Kobe era and recently another one with again Los Angeles Lakers post Shaq era.

After his playing career, he became a bench coach, then eventually the head coach for the Chicago Bulls.   • Pro Career

    He was selected with the 17th Pick in the 1967 draft by the New York Knicks. He was elected to the All-Rookie Team in 1968 and established himself as an excellent defensive role player for the team. He helped to lead the Knicks to an NBA Championship in 1973.   • Coaching Career

    Jackson's coaching career started humbly in the Continental Basketball Association, he was able to lead the Albany Patroons to a CBA title. In 1987, he was hired as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls, then later hired as head coach in 1989. He led the Bulls with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to six NBA Championships. He briefly retired in 1998 only to return to coaching for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000.
