Career
Pharoahe Monch began his career as one half of the duo Organized Konfusion with Prince Poetry until their split in 1997. While together they released three albums and were a popular act in the underground scene. After the split, Monch released his first solo album Internal Affairs in 1999. The lead single from the album, Simon Says was a huge commercial success thanks in part to a sample taken from Godzilla. He released follow up album Desire in 2007.-
