Career Highlights

From 1991 until 1999 Schmeichel was the goalkeeper at Manchester United. These were Scheichel's most successful years. Other welknown football teams he played for are Brøndby, Sporting CP, Aston Villa and Manchester City.
Manchester United won the UEFA Champions League in 1999. And in 1992 Peter Schmeichel was a member of the Danish national football team that won Euro 92.
Schmeichel is ranked among the top ten keepers of the 20th century. In 2008, he became the host of the European version of the Discovery Channel program Dirty Jobs.
