Peter Milligan is an Irish comic book writer who has worked on various DC Comics-Vertigo titles and Marvel Comics' X-Statix.
Career
Milligan's early career began with short stories for 2000AD in the 1980s and by 1986 had his first ongoing strip.
In 1989 Milligan had a mini-series published by DC Comics but it did not sell well however, he did become a regular writer for DC while working on his personal comics in the United Kingdom.
Through the 1990s Milligan did extensive work for DC Comics and released the four issue mini-series featuring The Human Target which gained him recognition among people who had been unaware of his work before.
Milligan began writing for Marvel Comics in 2001 where he worked on X-Force and X-Statix
