Peter David

Career

Peter David's career as a comic book writer began in 1985 in Marvel Comics' sales department. He submitted a story idea for Spectacular Spider Man, The Death of Jean DeWolf, which was so highly regarded that David was assigned as the book's regular writer for 22 issues. David's next project was a twelve year run on Incredible Hulk, where he revitalized the book by emphasizing the psychological motivations of the character.

In addition to his comic book work, Peter David wrote novels in the Babylon 5, Star Trek and Alien Nation franchises. He has also written for television and film.
