Pete Sampras

Pete Sampras is professional tennis player who was formerly ranked number one in the world. With fourteen Grand Slam titles, Sampras was ranked in the World Top 10 for twelve straight years.

Pete Sampras turned pro in 1988 and by the age of 19, became the youngest men's tennis champion at the U.S. Open. While Sampras found himself on top, a loss to Stefan Edberg in 1992 forced the young tennis player work harder.
