Pete Postlethwaite is an English film and stage actor, known for his roles in The Lost World: Jurrasic Park and The Usual Suspects. Before his film career, he acted for the prestigious, publicly funded Royal Shakespeare Company. His acclaimed roles include Giuseppe Conlon (father of Daniel Day-Lewis' character) in 1993's In the Name of the Father, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
