After The Beatles
After being fired from The Beatles in 1962, Best joined Lee Curtis and The All Stars. In 1963, Curtis left the band and they were renamed Pete and The All Stars. After signing a contract with the Decca label, the band changed their name to The Pete Best Four. They released several singles for the label and toured the world. In 1968, Best retired from music to focus on his family. Twenty years later in 1988, Best formed The Pete Best Band and continues to perform rock and roll standards.Billboard: Pete Best Biography
