The Perseid meteor shower is an annual astronomy event that is the result of Earth traveling through the debris field of the Comet Swift-Tuttle.

Tears of St. Laurence

Reportedly, St. Laurentius was roasted alive by the Romans in 258 AD. It is said that he told his executioners, "I am already roasted on one side and, if thou wouldst have me well cooked, it is time to turn me on the other".
