Wide receiver Percy Harvin was selected 22nd overall in the 2009 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He played college football for the Florida Gators in the NCAA.
Just days after the NFL draft, Harvin was missing from a Vikings mini-camp after he was hospitalized with severe dehydration. Failed Drug Test?
In April of 2009, unconfirmed reports stated that Harvin failed a drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine. According to ProFootballTalk.com, Harvin tested positive for marijuana. Harvin began his college football career with the Florida Gators in 2006, playing in 13 games and recording 34 catches, 41 rushes for 855 total yards and five touchdowns.
