Pepperdine University is a private four-year institution of higher learning. It is a member of the West Coast Conference. Pepperdine is affiliated with the Restorationist Churches of Christ.
Pepperdine University History
Pepperdine University was established on September 21, 1937 in Los Angeles, California. The original name of the institution was George Pepperdine College, named after its founder, a wealthy businessman and head of the Western Auto Supply Company.
