The American White Pelican likes to fish in a group, swimming side by side with others. They wait for the fish to come closer to shore and then scoop them up. The Pink-Backed Pelican has a spotted bill and likes to hide. When it sees prey it quietly sneaks up an lunges, while the Dalmation Pelican acts as a leader who likes others to find the fish.
