NBA Career
Stojakovic was drafted by the Sacramento Kings in 1996. He had a breakout season in 2000-01 and was runner up for the NBA Most Improved Player Award. Stojakovic played in his first All-Star Game in 2002. He finished fourth in MVP voting for the the 2003-04 season and was a major factor in the playoff runs of the Sacramento Kings at the time. Stojakovic was traded to the Indiana Pacers on January 25, 2006 in exchange for Ron Artest. Stojakovic was traded again on November 14, 2006 to the New Orleans Hornets. Since his days as a member of the Kings, injuries have hampered Stojakovic's career as one of the top players as his position. However, he has played an integral role in the Hornets' 2008 playoff run.
