  • Fatal Plane Crash

Stewart was aboard a Sunjet Aviation Learjet 35 on October 25, 1999, which departed from Orlando, Florida, bound for Dallas, Texas. Investigators believe the aircraft lost cabin pressure and for unknown reasons, the two pilots and four passengers were unable to receive oxygen from the emergency systems. The airplane went off course, traveling north, likely because the pilots and crew were incapacitated. The airplane crashed in Aberdeen, South Dakota, after the fuel ran out. There were no survivors.
