Paulo Coelho is a Brazilian novelist who is known for his books The Alchemist, Veronika Decides to Die and The Witch of Portobello.
Career
Before he became a successful novelist, Paulo Coehlo was a songwriter, law student, and vagabond. Through his world wide travels and soul searching he wrote his first critical and financial hit The Alchemist. Alchemist launched his late-in-life career and Coehlo has been writing successes like The Valkyries, and The Witch of Portobello ever since.
