Newscaster Paula Zahn has anchored news programs for a number of networks including ABC, CBS, Fox News Channel and CNN. She was the co-anchor of CBS This Morning from 1990 to 1996 and contributed reports to such programs as 48 Hours and Public Eye with Bryant Gumbel.
Early Career
Zahn graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Stephens College in 1978. She spent the next ten years working for local news stations around the country including WFAA-TV in Dallas, KFMB-TV in San Diego, KPRC-TV in Houston, WHDH-TV in Boston and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. She made her national news debut anchoring ABC's The Health Show.
Zahn's Resignation from CNN
Zahn resigned from her most recent platform, CNN's Paula Zahn NOW, in August 2007. In a New York Times interview following her resignation, Zahn announced that she had "no idea what she would be doing next."
