Paula Deen

Paula Deen is an American Southern cook, restaurateur, writer, television personality, devoted mother and wife who stars in the cooking shows Paula's Home Cooking , Paula's Party and Paula's Best Dishes on the Food Network television station. Deen's quirky personality has made her shows a success and led to her publishing a magazine in 2005 titled Cooking with Paula Deen. As a writer, she is the author of several books including Paula Deen Celebrates!, Paula Deen's The Deen family Cookbook, and Paula Deen's My First Cookbook.

She started a catering company named The Bag Lady in 1999 after divorcing her first husband. She opened two successful restaurants, The Lady & Sons in Downtown Savannah and Paula Deen Buffet in Tunica, Mississippi. Paula Deen, has been sued by the Celebrity Chef Tours for forty million dollars for breach of contract. Paula Deen filed a suit in February alleging that the company was defaming her and her sons because she canceled a tour. Now she is being sued for breach of contract and it has been reported that Paula Deen uses bad language and sexual remarks during performances making them not very family friendly.
