Paul "The Punisher" Williams is an American welterweight boxer. He is the current WBO Super welterweight champion.
On April 11, 2009, Williams defeated Winky Wright in a 12 round unanimous decision. The fight took place in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The bout aired live on HBO at 7pm (PST).

His first defeat came at the hands of Carlos Quintana in a 2008 12 round decision. Later that same year he avenged his first loss with a first round TKO of Quintana to reclaim his WBO championship. In 2009, Williams faces Winky Wright in Las Vegas, the bout his considered his most high profile fight of his career.
