• American actor Paul Walker first appeared in commercials when he was a child. In 1985 he appeared in the television series Highway to Heaven. In the 1990s he had roles in Pleasantville along with Reese Witherspoon and Tobey Maguire, and Varsity Blues. Walker's big break came when he was cast a starring role with Vin Diesel in the successful 2001 movie The Fast and the Furious and the 2003 sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious.

  Star magazine reported in February 2009 that Walker and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, are engaged to be married.
