KISS lead singer and guitarist Paul Stanley's high-energy stage presence, soaring vocal range, and flamboyant "starchild" persona made him one of 1970s and 1980s hard rock's most prominent figures. Along with KISS co-founder and co-vocalist Gene Simmons, Stanley has dazzled audiences across nearly four decades, both with and without his band's trademark makeup and platform boots.
