Paul Reuben is one of five contractors whose fingers were severed and returned to the United States from Iraq. He was kidnapped while working as a defense contractor. Family members were actually encouraged by the find, as it indicated that the men may still be alive. The kidnapping took place in November 2006. There have been no other indications of whether or not he is still alive. Two other contractors who were also kidnapped at the same time were found dead on March 24, 2008.
