  • NHL Career

    Martin was drafted 62nd overall in the 2000 NHL draft by the New Jersey Devils. He did not join the NHL right away, but attended and played for the University of Minnesota for three seasons. He made his NHL debut with the Devils in 2003 and played 70 regular season and five playoff games with the team that year.
