Paul Krugman is a professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University, author and columnist for The New York Times and the winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Economics. On October 13, 2008, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded Kruger the Nobel Prize for his work in international trade and economic geography. NobelPrize.org: The Prize in Economics 2008

Recession Advice
Krugman suggested that the U.S. government could borrow as much as $5 trillion to sped up recovery from the 2008 recession.
