Paul Kanjorski is the Democratic Congressional Representative for the 11th district in Pennsylvania. Starting his career in politics in 1984, Kanjorski is now the Democratic At-Large Whip. He is also a member of the House Government Reform Committee, which was in the news (in 2008) for conducting hearings on steroid use in Major League Baseball.

Paul Kanjorski has made considerable effort in attempting to stimulate the economic development of the district he represents. He has supported the $250 million federal funding of the Wyoming Valley Levee raising project, and the $48 million renovation of the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. -
