  • Paul Burrell worked as Princess Diana's butler before her death. He started working at Buckingham Palace as a household footman. After a year he became the Queen's personal footman went on to become butler to the Prince and Princess of Wales at Highgrove House. After Diana's death Burrell flew to Paris where he received the clothes she died in. He dressed her body and put on her make-up before returning to Britain with her body. After a video emerged in which Burrell admitted telling lies to the $20 million Diana Inquest, he may be charged with perjury and face 10 years in jail.
