Paul Anka

Paul Anka is a singer-songwriter. He was a teen idol in the 1950s and '60s and went on to write many hit songs as well as the theme song for The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

Anka's most famous song is "My Way," which became Frank Sinatra's trademark theme song. Other hits include "Diana," "Lonely Boy" and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." He also wrote for artists such as Buddy Holly and Tom Jones.

On November 28, 2008, TMZ.com reported that Anka's wife Anna threw a piece of ice at his head during an argument. Anka received two stitches at a local hospital near their home in Thousand Oaks, California. According to the site, when Paul Anka returned home his wife was gone. He called the police.
