Comedy Routines
Oswalt's routines have made plain his love of comic books, hatred of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Famous Bowl and feelings about everything from George W. Bush's presidential administration to early metal videos. His stand-up takes on the form of long, detailed rants, which mix pop culture and politics in equal amounts. The Comedians of Comedy tour, which he created and produced, was revolutionary for taking cutting-edge comedians out of comedy club chains and putting them in independent music venues.Film and Television
Oswalt's film and television career has included a nine-year stint on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens and voice-over work as the lead character Remi in Pixar's Ratatouille and as various characters on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Kim Possible and SpongeBob SquarePants.Oswalt has appeared on the television programs Human Giant, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Reno 911! and Lewis Black's The Root of All Evil. He also created a failed Comedy Central pilot with fellow comedian Brian Posehn called Super Nerds.
