Patti Scialfa is an American singer-songwriter and a longstanding member of her husband Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Her own material combines elements of rock, blues, folk, soul and gospel. She has also recorded with The Rolling Stones.

Springsteen Affair

Music
Scialfa is known for her vocal range, as well as a unique timbre, sometimes compared to that of The Ronettes' Ronnie Spector. Her music is eclectic, but rooted in traditional American rock. She has released three albums, which received generally favorable notices from critics, including two 4-star reviews in Rolling Stone. USA Today called her 2007 album Play It as It Lays "rich in both experience and yearning."
