  • Career Highlights

    Patrick O'Sullivan began his hockey career with the Mississauga IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League in 2001. He earned several awards over his four seasons in the OHL including the Jack Ferguson Award as the top draft pick and the Emms Family Award for Rookie of the Year. O'Sullivan was drafted 56th overall in the 2003 NHL draft by the Minnesota Wild. He continued to play in the OHL for two additional seasons, leading the team to the OHL Championship Finals in 2004. In 2005, O'Sullivan joined the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League] a Wild affiliate. He was traded on June 24, 2006, to the Los Angeles Kings, where he made his NHL debut. He split the 2006-07 between the Kings and their AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. O'Sullivan earned a full roster spot with the Kings the next year, playing in all 82 regular season games, scoring 22 goals and 31 assists.
