Patrick Murphy is a Congressman from Pennsylvania. Also, he was a JAG Officer and a Captain in the elite 82nd Airborne. Rep. Murphy is the first and at this time the only Iraqi war veteran to serve in Congress. He is a member of the Blue Dog Coalition Armed Services Committee and the Select Committee for Intelligence. Rep. Murphy worked with Rep. Barack Obama on legislation to bring the soldiers back from Iraq.
