Actor and guitarist Patrick Fugit starred in the 2000 comedy- drama movie Almost Famous, playing a young rock fan and reporter. The role was his first big break. Prior to starring in the film Fugit appeared in small roles on tv shows like Touched By An Angel.
Since Almost Famous, he has co-starred in several films including Spun, Saved, White Oleander and the controversial indie film Wristcutters: A Love Story.

Although it has not yet been confirmed, rumors are circulating that Fugit will replace Tobey Maguire as the new Spiderman in the upcoming fourth sequel of the movie.
