Patrick Ewing, Jr. is a professional basketball player, currently a free agent in the National Basketball Association. He is the son of former NBA star Patrick Ewing.
On August 27, 2010, the New York Knicks reported that they had signed Ewing Jr. to a contract. Even though the terms of the contract were not disclosed, Ewing joined the Knicks as a free agent. He was a member of the Knicks after his original move to Sacramento but had not been signed to the team. Patrick Ewing, Jr. played basketball for Indiana University and later the Georgetown Hoyas before entering the NBA draft in 2008. During his career at Georgetown, he received the Big East Sixth Man of the Year Award. Patrick Ewing Jr. played for the Georgetown Hoyas during his college career. He competed in the 2008 NCAA Slam Dunk Contest and received a perfect score for one of his dunks. The video above shows the dunk that Ewing got the perfect score on. During it, Ewing jumps up to the rim and windmills the ball behind his back before dunking it.
