  • Chaise Lounge

    A longtime fixture of outdoor and indoor decor, the chaise lounge (really chaise longue, but the American spelling and pronunciation has become accepted as well) originated as an elegant upholstered and pillow-equipped indoor chair long enough to stretch out the legs. Now an often plasticized design is applied to the chaise lounge, which makes frequent appearances outdoors on the patio or next to the pool.
