Weapons
There are a number of different weapon types in Patapon 2. These include normal, ancient, heaven, elemental and rare weapons. There are over 500 different weapons and items in the game and there are understandably many ways to obtain them. One method is to farm bosses, who randomly drop rare weapons. Patapon 2 is the sequel to Patapon, the action rhythm game released in 2008. Patapon 2 picks up the story where the first left off, a the tribe of mighty Patapons sail across the ocean...which is promptly overturned by a kraken. The Patapon find themselves on the shore of a strange new land, with new bosses and challenges.There are nearly 100 different missions in the game, more than 400 levels, and hundreds of weapons and items to find and create. The game features a multiplayer mode for up to four players, or a single player with three AI-controlled friends. The various multiplayer levels are made up of two parts. First, the group must work together to defeat an enemy and steal its egg.
