Patapon 2 is the sequel to 2008's Patapon and picks up the story where the first game left off. The game is published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
In Patapon 2, players lead a tribe of Patapons against an army of monsters. The game mixes action gameplay elements with those of a rhythm-based game.
There is 200% more content than the original game, including over 500 different weapons and items to collect, nearly 100 missions and more than 40 levels.
There are hundreds of different items available in Patapon 2, the PSP-exclusive rhythm platform game released on May 5, 2009 in the US.

Patapon 2 - New Items
In the first Patapon game, there were 187 different weapons and items available. Patapon 2 more than doubles that number and features more than 500! There are many item types: wood, meat, bone, fang to name a few.
