Pat Sajak is a television game show host who currently hosts the ever-popular Wheel of Fortune show. After attending college, Sajak found his way into television during an overnight shift as a newsman. After serving in Vietnam with the U.S. Army, he again entered into service as a television newscaster in Los Angeles, California. He took the position with Merv Griffin as the host of the Wheel of Fortune television show in 1983.
Following six years as host of both the daytime and night time shows, he said goodbye to the daytime position, leaving fans with a memorable kiss with co-host Vanna White. In addition to co-hosting the evening show, Sajak has several other television endeavors and entrepreneurial pursuits.
