Hingle most recently appeared in the 2008 drama Undoing Time. He also appeared in The List, alongside Malcolm McDowell and Hilarie Burton.

• 1960 Elevator Accident

  In 1960, Hingle found himself trapped in an elevator in his apartment building on West End Avenue. While trying to climb out of the elevator, which had become stuck between the second and third floors, Hingle lost his balance and fell 54 feet.
