Pat Garrity

Pat Garrity is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association.

Patrick Joseph Garrity was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 23, 1976. He attended high school at Lewis Palmer High School in Colorado. He continued his education at the University of Notre Dame. Garrity was traded twice before he played his first game. He was drafted by Milwaukee, then traded to the Dallas Mavericks, who then traded him to the Phoenix Suns. In his first season with the Phoenix Suns, Garrity started nine games and averaged 5.6 points in 39 games. The following season, Garrity was traded to the Orlando Magic. His best season was in the 2002-2003 campaign, when he started 53 games and averaged 10.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
