Pastor Troy

Pastor Troy is a Georgia-based Rapper who grew up around the church and was raised under the eyes of his parents Alfred and Sheryl Troy. He was exposed to many aspects of street life in Atlanta, which can be heard in the lyrics of his music.

Pastor Troy began his career in the Southern underground scene recording songs with several other fellow Southern rappers such as Ludacris, Lil Jon and Joey Cutless. His first album, We Ready: I Declare War, was released in 1999. He used his early success to help other regional rappers gain traction, including members of his own group, the Down South Georgia Boys. Recently he signed a deal with Cash Money Records to release his upcoming album The Rapture.
