  • Events

The biggest event in Pasadena is the Rose Bowl. It's an annual college football game, usually played on New Years Day. It has always been the largest viewed and attended college football game in history. The morning of the Rose Bowl is the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, which is also aired on television before the football game later in the day. The parade route is almost 5 and a half miles long and takes up to two and a half hours to complete. Floats are traditionally made from roses and after the parade there is a competition for the best float. Also attending the parade are marching bands from around the world. The parade is held only eight miles from Los Angeles, so the turnout is usually pretty massive.
