Pasadena is a city in California, just a short drive from Los Angeles. Each New Year's Day, Pasadena is the site of the world famous Tournament of Roses, including the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl. There are many dining establishments in Pasadena; it's even been called Southern California's "premier dining" location. The city offers over 500 different restaurants and a variety of cuisine choices.

Bistro 45 is a fine-dining restaurant in Pasadena that offers a French-style menu for guests. Like many luxury restaurants, the menu changes seasonally and most ingredients are as fresh as can be. There is an "excellent" wine list that is constantly listed on Wine Spectator's list of bests. Main courses shouldn't run more then $40 USD and reservations are strongly recommended.Affordable Dining
For a bit of traditional, American budget dining, try eating at the Crocodile Cafe. Their menu lists such favorites as pizza, pasta, salads and burgers, most cooked over an "oak-wood grill." They also have a variety of California wines and micro-brewed beers on tap, as well as non-alcoholic favorites as lemonade and soda. Frommer's reviews the Cafe as "casual and colorful, " that offers "simple crowd-pleasers." Most ingredients are local and fresh. The Crocodile Cafe is family-friendly and a great place to bring the family while vacationing in Pasadena.
